Light 'Em Up

Have you ever been in one of those moods where you just want to burn everything from your past?  Just to put it all in a tangible pile and light the sucker up? Erase it all from existence?  I did this painting to represent the moment when you would have struck the match and are about to  throw it down.

As always I challenged myself with this piece; using a friend as a model and putting the light source midway deep into the painting.  Still: it was fun.
